An 11/12lb rainbow caught and released by Butterstone regular Steve Gamlen. We have never stocked a fish of this size and, as an absolute minimum, has doubled in size since it was stocked. Well done to Steve for returning which will hopefully encourage more rods out over the last 2 months of the season.

The Summer months were challenging with clear blue skies and Mediterranean temperatures. However, those who persevered and adapted to the conditions were rewarded early morning and into dusk.

With cooler weather and some rainfall over the past week, things are very much looking up at Butterstone.
