Butterstone Loch, Balhomish Loch & Stanley / Upper Scone beats on River Tay

DBAA Members only tickets

Day permits for all our fishing can be accessed through the website. In order to make a booking,  you need to know your Beatbooker Username, and if you haven’t used it before, you will have to use the “forgotten password” function in Beatbooker.  If you have any difficulty with the process, please contact the following  E-mail addresses for help;- dunkeldangling@gmail.com, Secretary@dbaa,co.uk or Treasurer@dbaa.co.uk.   It is a condition of your permit that you submit a return in respect of  each permit.  The return can be completed online through Beatbooker, but you can also submit a nil return by E-mail to dunkeldangling@gmail.com

In addition to the day permits outlined above, It is a condition of membership that all members are required to submit annual returns in respect of their fishing on the association river beats.  We are working on an online format, but in the meantime you can find drafts under the docs section at the foot of each website screen, of the old-style manual returns, which can either be completed in full and sent to DBAA, PO Box 7228, Dunkeld PH8 0YZ, or particularly for nil returns, they can be summarised on an E-mail to dunkeldangling@gmail.com.

Butterstone Loch: Rainbow trout

As for all DBAA water, it is strongly recommended that anglers have their own personal insurance to cover themselves whilst partaking in angling activities and that life preservers are worn at all times on all waters.

There will be 10, 2-man boats per day available for use  and boats may be booked in advance one session at a time.

1st April – 31st October (inclusive) Monday -Sunday

Session
Day – 10am – 10pm or dusk (whichever is soonest)

Single Angler£25/session (2 fish retained limit)
Two Anglers£50/session (2 fish retained/angler limit)
Junior* non DBAA**£6/session (1 fish retained limit)

* must be under 16 and accompanied at all times by DBAA member.

River Tay(Stanley-Upper Scone): Brown trout

Please don’t forget that once you have booked your permit through the website, you will still need to collect the keys from the Village Shop(Best one) in Birnam and for this, you will need to present your permit to the shop staff.
